As the release of the final book approaches, it's time for a little scavenger hunt for all you humani out there. Over the next 3 weeks we will be releasing hidden pieces of a puzzle that, when assembled correctly, will reveal an exclusive sneak peek at a the opening sentence of The Enchantress. The pieces will be revealed across all of our pages, including the Portal, the Forum, our Twitter, our Facebook and even on our podcast Awakenings (so be sure to tune into that on the 15th!). There will be 11 pieces in all, with the first two pieces arriving today (February 1st) and the final piece arriving on February 21st. Once all the pieces are revealed you will have one week to submit your answer via our forum. (See the forum post here for full submission guidelines) On February 29th, all correct entries will be entered into a random drawing and one lucky winner will receive a copy of the "Ireland Only" paperback edition of The Alchemyst, signed by Michael Scott. This contest is open to everyone, so click here to start looking!

Today is the Winter Solstice! It holds a lot of meaning in the world; the shortest day of the year, the first day of winter, the Earth's axial tilt is furthest away from the sun...

For all us Humani, the Winter Solstice has a rather special meaning as well! It marks the birthday of our favorite book's main characters, legendary twins Josh and Sophie Newman! There is still a mystery surrounding the significance to the date and time the Twins of Legend were born, and hopefully we'll get to find out exactly what that significance is before we turn the last page in the Flamel series in just 5 months time!

And for all you Portal goers and online questers, this years puzzle quest game, The Aether, is in full swing! Well it's that time of year again! It's Quest Time!!! And we've got another great game lined up for you. Following the storyline of our previous two quests, you are once again accompanied by the hooded Nicholas Flamel. The two of you must find your way through the twisting and turning maze that is Xibalba. Along the way you must collect certain artifacts by beating difficult puzzles and games, only then may you gain access to the Elemental Cave and test your worthiness to obtain the power of The Aether!
